Upcoming meetings and events for September 19th.
The most up-to-date calendar is located online on the Bullock Google calendar.
Celebrations
Stop by the Affirmation Station in the front office to give someone a shout-out for a "lollipop moment."
The focus this month: Paradigms
SMART TV: If you have a SMARTboard, but would prefer to have a TV let me know. We are seeking a win-win. To see a sample of the TV, check-out the front conference room.
Tutors: Please see the updated math tutor schedule. I have communicated with the affected parties. Thank you to our tutor SWAT team and Heather Gaines for blazing trails with our new tutor schedule.
Leader on TRACK: Please make sure you are recording your Leader of the Week on the board outside the Dining Hall. Don't forget to send your leaders to the office from 2:00-2:30 on Friday to celebrate.

The focus this month: Paradigms
This month we are taking a deep dive into paradigms that fuel our beliefs. These may be the most important steps we take as a staff. Please make time for the "big rock" of mentally exploring your paradigms. I hope that you celebrated the genius in your co-workers and students last week.
This week we explore the paradigm of change. The paradigm of change is not, "to change schools, the system must change." It is "CHANGE STARTS WITH ME." That is powerful. We may not always like the systems that are in place, but if we keep this paradigm at the forefront there are no limitations. What is something in your professional environment that you would like to change? What one step can you put in place this week to bring about that change? #livebig, #dreambig, #dontfearchange

Action Teams: Tomorrow, action teams will meet for the first times. The updated action teams are located here. I transferred the data from the worksheet. I did assign folks who had not signed-up to a team.
SMART TV: If you have a SMARTboard, but would prefer to have a TV let me know. We are seeking a win-win. To see a sample of the TV, check-out the front conference room.
C&I Night: We will have C&I Night this Thursday for our families starting at 6pm. We will have a Title 1 Informational Meeting at 5:30pm. Please synergize with your grade level to prepare for the evening. I would like to have student greeters welcoming guests for every grade level. Please consider the environment of the space where you are presenting (music, cleanliness, materials, etc.). We want our families to experience the same welcoming a rich environment you create for our students daily. Please provide students opportunities for leadership. I need two student leaders for the front lobby. Please let me know if you have some willing candidates.
Brag Tags and AR: Please provide feedback on the status of brag tags in your classroom (success stories, progress). I would like to discuss at our upcoming SIT meeting. Also please discuss your progress on AR. What do you need to be successful?
Tutors: Please see the updated math tutor schedule. I have communicated with the affected parties. Thank you to our tutor SWAT team and Heather Gaines for blazing trails with our new tutor schedule.
Leader on TRACK: Please make sure you are recording your Leader of the Week on the board outside the Dining Hall. Don't forget to send your leaders to the office from 2:00-2:30 on Friday to celebrate.
Class Mission: Please post your class mission outside your door in the provided frame. Class missions were due September 16th.
Copies: All teachers have 15,000 per year which is available in 10-1,500 allotments to avoid running out too early in the year. Please use provided resources or lined paper where possible to conserve copies.
SafeSchools: Modules are due September 30th. This due date is not padded so please make sure you have completed the modules on time.
