- Tour Guides Needed: I need a team of 10 students to give school tours from 8:00-8:30 on March 20th for the Community Day. Please talk to the leaders in your class and forward names of students who would be interested. I would like to continue to "put first things first" with academics, so please take that into consideration when providing names (it is during 2nd grade Habit 7). Thanks for your help team.
- Quarterly testing: Mrs. Perrell has updated the quarterly testing dates on the Bullock master calender. We will be testing March 24th-27th.
- Spring Break: March 30th-April 3rd.
- New Social Worker: We are sad to say goodbye to Valerie and certainly wish her the best with her new school assignments. Kimberly Richardson will be joining us on Monday as our new Social Worker. Please give her a warm Bullock welcome.
- PTO Thrift Shop: The PTO thrift shop generously gives $5,000 to all schools who work at least 150 hours. We need that money for our students, but are having trouble getting the hours despite an incentive. The PTO would love your help in encouraging parents to work at the PTO Thrift Shop. Please include a note to parents to help in your weekly communication. It would be great to also mentioned this opportunity to serve during conferences or informal meetings. Staff can also work at the thrift shop for hours (classified staff can use this for make-up hours). Thanks for your help.
- Translation: Please be sure your parent communication is succinct and clear for all our parents. It greatly helps with translation and is a good practice for parents who receive a lot of communication from the school.
